What would I say?
Click on Retailers if you wish NASP to send
a message to all retailers or to tell a specific retailer
what you think or feel about their store, their security,
their attitude or their handling of the shoplifting case involving
you or your child. You may also want to include what you think
their role should be in preventing shoplifting in your community.
Click on Police if you wish to comment on
police involvement in shoplifting incidents or tell the police
what you think or feel about their attitude and professionalism
in the handling and processing of the shoplifting case involving
you or your child after the apprehension in the store.
Click on Judges if you would like judges
to hear what you have to say about your shoplifting problem
or the handling of the case involving you or your child. Judges
tell us they want and need your honest feedback so they can
make more informed decisions.
Click on Exert Your Influence if you have
something to share or want to tell your shoplifting story.
Perhaps you have a story that will contribute to our efforts
to educate the public about shoplifting and more importantly
about the people who find themselves facing this problem.
Perhaps you’d like to warn youth about the impact on
their future or remind parents of the importance of being
tough on this issue with their own kids. You might have something
to say to parents, schools, attorneys, psychotherapists or
even your community leaders. This is your chance to make your
voice heard and to improve the lives of those affected and
reduce the number of people who become involved.
